Littleborough Coach House Exhibition 2009
This NWFAS exhibition was held from Sat 11th April to 9th May 2009. We had to hang the exhibition ourselves and myself along with Charles Maconald (Acting Chairman), Andrew Ward (Treasurer) and Charles' wife Jean (who sorted the pictures and did a great job which us fella's couldn't have done) hung the pictures.
Unfortunately we didn't sell any pictures but the people in the gallery were very pleasant and the Coach House has a very good Bistro cafe where they also have Greek Evenings wich includes plate smashing!

Sunnyhurst Wood Exhibition - 2009
The NWFAS exhibition at Sunnyhurst Wood was held from Sat 13th June to Sun 26th July 2009. The Mayor and Lady Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen opened the event and the Mayor purchased a painting. The photographer didn't turn up so i do not have any pics of the opening. The exhibition area is very well lit and in a great setting in the woods. Five paintings were sold and two pottery items.
Thanks are due to Barbara and Sheila from Monton Art Group who helped with the refreshments and the lady from Blackburn Artists (whose name escapes me, i think its Lynn) who helped out with showing the Mayor round the exhibition.
We would like also to thank the Sunnyhurst Wood staff who did an excellent job of hanging the exhibition and always make us feel very welcome!
